Robe has introduced its new Arianne Series, a family of four LED moving-head wash fixtures designed to deliver powerful output, impressive color mixing, and dependable performance without unnecessary complexity. The lineup includes the Arianne 2, 4, 6, and 12, with the larger 4 and 12 models joining the family at PLASA 2026.
All four fixtures feature 55W RGB+Lime LED multichips, providing vibrant colors and improved white-light reproduction. With adjustable color temperatures from 1,800K to 10,000K, tungsten lamp emulation, and a CRI of up to 86, the series offers considerable flexibility for live events, theatrical applications, and corporate productions.
Each model features a motorized zoom capable of transitioning from tight 3.8-degree beams to broad washes, along with independently controllable LED segments for dynamic effects. Rather than incorporating extensive individual pixel mapping and complicated effect layers, Robe has focused on straightforward programming and essential wash-light functionality.
Four Models, One Family
Fixture | LED Engine | Output at 5m | Zoom |
|---|---|---|---|
Arianne 2 | 7 × 55W | 27,000 lux | 3.8°–55° |
Arianne 4 | 12 × 55W | 46,000 lux | 3.8°–52° |
Arianne 6 | 19 × 55W | 90,000 lux | 3.8°–60° |
Arianne 12 | 37 × 55W | 150,000 lux | 3.8°–54° |
The entire lineup features IP65-rated construction, with Robe's RAINS technology actively monitoring internal humidity, temperature, and pressure to help protect the fixtures in demanding environments. Other features include L3 18-bit dimming for smooth fades, Cpulse adjustable PWM for camera-friendly operation, and console-controlled fan settings.
For technicians, Robe includes NFC configuration through its Robe COM app, Ethernet-based remote diagnostics through REAP, and support for DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and wireless CRMX. A shared Series Mode fixture personality also allows models within the family to be substituted with less programming and patching work.
For corporate production, the Arianne Series offers an interesting combination of powerful stage washes, scenic lighting, aerial effects, and weather-resistant construction. Its emphasis on simplified programming and reduced maintenance should also appeal to production companies and rental houses looking for versatile fixtures that can move between different types of shows.
